Gone but still connected

During my time at UBC, I made friends from countries that I had never expected: Kenya, the Philippines, South Africa and more. Having cultural exchanges with my friends meant cooking together, sharing photos and stories, and just laughing about how similar and different we could be. These international connections happened in Vancouver, but I also managed to meet up and run into my old friends in Sweden, Croatia, and Colombia. Luckily I know that these relationships can go beyond UBC and Canada.
