UBC First Nations Longhouse

I am a 52 year old Kaska female first nations student of the Crow Clan from the Yukon and this is the first time I have ever lived on my own on campus with a population more than the total population of the Yukon. I am studying Archaeology and found that UBC had a lot to offer. My first year here had been very stressful with so many people it is scary. UBC First Nations Longhouse staff made me feel safe and were there to support me through the challenging times while studying the human journey.
