Tuum Est - Creation of the Tanzania Heart Babies Project

The Tanzania Heart Babies Project is a poignant story of the plight of children in need of pediatric cardiac surgery in Tanzania. In summer 2014, I, along with a team of 12 students travelled to Nepal and trekked up to the Base Camp of Mt. Everest at 17,590 ft in honour of the project. Through our # Neverrest Everest campaign and on-campus efforts, we raised enough funds to saves the lives of 10 Tanzanian children. For more information, check out: www.tzfortheheart.org
