Science in Singapore

Through an interesting set of events, I ended up in Singapore for my final co-op placement as a research intern. Being able to plan and conduct research in a field I was interested in has been the most important part of my degree - despite headaches, there was the odd "hurrah" when things did work. Added bonuses were being able to fulfill my dream of living abroad, make friends from a different corner of the world, and do some exploring around Southeast Asia. Thanks UBC!
