UBC's Leadership in Sustainability

In my 18 years at UBC I have had the pleasure of working on a variety of projects that have contributed towards UBC's on-going sustainability leadership. It is very encouraging to work at an organization where we are on target to reduce our green house gas emissions by 33% by 2015, despite the relentless growth. This reduction has been achieved by implementing projects that will reduce the life-cycle costs of running the campus for the next 100 years (www.energy.ubc.ca/projects/).
