The City of Kelowna is proud of its place in UBC’s history, as home to a campus that hosts more than 8,000 students from across Canada and around the world. Our city is proud to share the many benefits that result from UBCO’s culture of learning and global citizenship.
On behalf of the City of Kelowna, I congratulate the University of British Columbia on a century of service to our province, our country and our world.
I believe the 10th anniversary of the Okanagan campus of UBC coincides with the 10 most productive and expansive years in the history of the university. UBC’s emergence as one of the top universities in the world is the result of its ambitious vision to be a global leader in research and education.
