Preparation for Adulthood

UBC was a stepping stone. I graduated with a B.Com. at the age of 19. This was followed by an M. Com. (MBA) at the University of Toronto and career. I was a 2/Lt in the COTC. This led to me enlisting in the and becoming a Lieutenant in the In Canadian Infantry Corps and a volunteer in the Pacific Brigade formed to serve in the war against Japan. I was on the Executive of the Players' Club and acted in the 1944 Spring Play. This led to membership in the Ottawa Little Theatre and many plays.
