Understanding of the drinking-water-from-air resource rooted in Physical Geography knowledge gained at UBC
Frequently, as I do my research and development work about drinking-water-from-air technologies, I feel indebted to the Dept. of Geography professors of the 1970's (notably M. Church, A. Farley, J. Hay, J. R. Mackay, T. Oke, and O. Slaymaker) who taught me the knowledge and skills I now draw on. Without them, I doubt if I could have created two businesses in the field, or written a few peer-reviewed papers, or participated in interesting projects in the Turks & Caicos Islands and Belize.
