Enforcement of International Humanitarian Law

After graduating I became a delegate of the International Committee of the Red Cross, with headquarters in Geneva. This lead me to Gaza and Jerusalem to oversee the enforcement of the Geneva Conventions.Then on to Burundi, Nicaragua after the Sandinista Revolution, Argentina, Uruguay and Chile to visit political prisoners, Iran (war with Irak)Indonesia and East Timor, Thailand on the Cambodian mborder (Khmer Rouges), Armenia (conflict with Azerbaidjan), Uzbekistan, Kaz, Kirg. Turkm. Tadj, Syria
