Chinese 101 with Ms. Pi

I had an amazing Chinese teacher in Ms. Pi. Her dedication, passion, and teaching style impressed upon me that China was a place worth exploring (this is 1992 when I took her class). Armed with the knowledge and sense of adventure, I left Vancouver immediately after my graduation ceremony and landed in China in 1994. And I'm still here today... in Shanghai where the landscape is changing so fast. Exciting times... and I owe to my mandarin teacher who got me interested many years ago......
