Co-Social Coordinator , Faculty of Home Economics
I took on the voluntary role to be the co-social coordinator of Home Economics in 1981-1982. A fellow ,”HMEC ‘er” shared the role with me. Through the role, I learned more about myself, gained leadership skills, and met many students in Home Economics and across other faculties. I had A LOT OF FUN, too! I especially remember the HMEC Hallowe’en Dance in SUB ballroom and the ,”Witches brew”! UBC was an excellent, rounded experience! I now work as a school counsellor.
