Snow Avalanche Research twenty years on!

After formulating avalanche risk assessment methods for Iceland during my MSc (supervised by Prof. David McClung) I returned to the UK to do a PhD in a different field. However, I have kept my interests in avalanche science going and am currently part of a team that has developed a radar system for imaging the dynamics of geophysical mass flows, such as avalanches, to unprecedented resolution.
