Building Nashville into Vancouver

During a family vacation in high school, I fell in love with the city of Vancouver and knew I had to attend UBC-Vancouver. I focused on urban studies, learning all about the built environment of Vancouver. Whenever I could, I completed papers and projects on my hometown, Nashville, TN. With the guidance of UBC professors, I would go back each summer and find ways to shape Nashville into a more sustainable, livable city like what I experienced in Vancouver.
