UBC Astronomy Club Events
During my time as President of the UBC Astronomy Club, I met numerous dedicated and inspiring individuals. One evening in October at 2:45 in the morning, 35 of our fellow astronomy-enthusiasts gathered on Wreck Beach to watch the lunar eclipse. Although the Vancouver clouds sadly prevented us from seeing the entire eclipse, I brought 2 pots of coffee and we stayed around all morning discussing space and science; and some even took a dip in the ocean!
