And The World Opened Up

In the 1980's I had the greatest fortune to attend UBC - starting in Art History and ending with a Medieval Studies degree. In class, I made dear friends and acquired language and learning skills that have shaped my life and focused both my work and play. A summer school course after 2nd year opened my eyes to Europe and began my lifelong love of travel. From a small Indian reserve in the Okanagan, I became a citizen of the world, and UBC gave that to me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
