4 seasons?!? What?

Moving out of my home country (Thailand) for the first time was a bit of an eye-opening, shocking cultural experience. I remember walking from Totem Park to Nitobe Gardens in the fall of 2008 and whispering to my Canadian roommate: "the leaves are changing color!?!?!"--knowing full well that Vancouver experiences 4 seasons but having never seen anything other than summer with my own eyes. Meeting people in our dorm was so much fun!
