A Really Long Family Legacy

I am the third in a consecutive line beginning in 1939 of four first-born sons from the McMichael family to graduate from UBC. In fact, I graduated three different times. We are all named William. I liked it so much here I taught in the Faculty of Education from 1977-2012. My Grandfather was a principal in Victoria and my son is on tenure track in Fukushima, so we come by our practice naturally. Next in line is my grandson, also named William, whom I expect to graduate in 2029.
