UBC led me to Alberta

After getting my MD at UBC, I matched to family medicine at McGill. At the same time I joined the CAF, and was posted to the base in Victoria for general practice. The military sponsored me for psychiatry residency at th University of Ottawa from 1993 to 1997. I worked for them in Ottawa until 2002, then was posted out to Edmonton – where I have happily been ever since. I love it here.
