Born in Calgary in 1930. Lived on a farm, attended high school in Clinton, ON. Joined RCMP after graduation, and stationed in BC. Left the force, attended UWO, and graduated (BA) in 1956. Played football for the BC Lions and graduated – LLB from UBC in ’59. Called to the BC bar in ’60, practiced law in Dawson Creek. Appointed to BC Provincial Court in ’69, to BC Judicial Council in ’71, Associate Chief in ’75, County Court ’76 and BC Supreme Court ’90. Retired 1999. Ad Astra.
