Home away from home... per se

Please allow me to honor and acknowledge my completion of 2 degrees on the unceded, traditional Coast Salish territories of the Musqueam people. I am Coast Salish, belonging to the Tla'amin Nation. I relish my experiences as both undergraduate and graduate student of UBC. I was a part of the First Nations House of Learning developments in the early 1990s. I thus returned to enjoy the 'home away from home' experience again, when I completed a Master's in Indigenous Pedagogies. Blessings!
