Full Circle

When I was eight years old, my single parent Mom decided to return to UBC to upgrade her teaching education. My Mom and us four kids were accepted into subsidised family housing on campus in The Courts. It was the perfect setting for me as I was playing outside with other kids all the time and accessing the amenities of the campus, especially the swimming pools, skating rinks, forests, and the old sub building that had an arcade and a bowling alley. Later I would return as a student myself.
