Memories from the 60s

Arriving on campus from Montreal in 1961, I was awestruck by the beauty of my new home - Anne Wesbrook Hall with ocean and mountains as backdrop. It was there that I met my husband to be - now of 50 years - Tom d'Aquino. He proved his affection by always giving me the heart of the scrumptious cinnamon buns at Brock Hall. I fell in love with him, philosophy, Kaspar Naegele, the Japanese garden, and the Ubyssey which told us about all the wonderful speakers, folk singers, etc coming to campus.
