UBC a conduit to reach my dreams
Born a sick infant I spent much of my childhood under the care of physicians, their calm and strength of character unconsciously inspiring me for the first time to pursue a life committed to helping others. The fortune of having a family who supported my curiosity for learning and exploration led me all around the world, and yet I always returned to UBC to further my education. UBC opened up my life to the opportunities which led me to international aid and now addictions and rural medicine.
