Life's A Rollercoaster

I came to Vancouver on the recommendation of a Canadian English professor in Puerto Rico. Before arriving at UBC for grad school I didn’t know a single thing about Canada, I just knew that the lower mainland wouldn’t be as cold as Toronto. It became a pleasant surprise then that it became one of my favorite places on earth. Not only did I successfully complete my PhD, but I discovered my calling, and met the love of my life here in Vancouver. Its’ amazing how things work out.
