It's never too late!
I returned to School to earn my teaching degree at the age of 35. I was scared and nervous. My husband and 3 children constantly encouraged me. I discovered that I was smarter and a harder worker than I thought. The day of my graduation filled me with a sense of accomplishment and hope for the future.
Many people over the years had made me feel like I was stupid. At UBC, I found that I was welcome and respected. It opened a whole new world for me. I developed a life long love of learning
