San Diego Crew Classic 2014

My final year of rowing on the UBC women's team was undefeated in North America and the Crew Classic was my final university race. We went out fast and stayed ahead with only UVic our Canadian rival anywhere close to us. We took the American teams by surprise and won the Cal Cup! I remember crying and laughing at the end of the race and reaching over to hug my stroke seat, Katherine, who had started as a novice with me first year. An amazing way to end my university rowing career!
