Conference Life

As part of my time in the Engineering Student Society, I had to find a way to get myself to the University of Manitoba for a conference as cheaply as possible. In my nativity, I found that Greyhound had the round trip on sale for only $105 (less than a quarter the cost of flying for those dates!) so I booked what ended up being a 48 hour bus ride each way. I ended up meeting some interesting people on the trip with whom to commiserate; including someone who now lives just a block away from me!
