Day of the Longboat

A favourite memory of mine from UBC was the Day of the Longboat. Though we had a terrible start with our teammate pushing us off falling in the ocean and the rest of us accidentally leaving her behind, we persevered and narrowed our gap in last place majorly! (We also managed to get her back in the Longboat by the way). There was a lot of competition and in the moment yelling among us 1st years who had known each other for only a couple weeks, but there was also a lot of laughter. Much fun had!
