I entered UBC when I was 32. At the time it seemed old, but that was a while ago. I was so excited to be able to sit in the library and do my research or homework. After years in business and working I thought " this is amazing that I can sit and do this all day." I just loved the campus. It was a new world, a wonderful world. It was lonely at first but in later years I had my studio on campus with folks around. I never wanted to leave. I would have been happy to stay there forever.
