Survival
A few months before my graduation I almost died in a near fatal car accident off of Granville st. I spent months at the hospital and was initially told I would never walk again. Being an avid kickboxer and runner at the time, I felt my dreams disappear before my eyes. I had to withdraw from my courses due to my injuries. It was with the help of my peers and some professors that I regained hope, the will to live, re-learned how to walk, and a year later, graduated with a BA in Psychology.
