Dreams will change

I clearly remember entering UBC Science with a limited understanding of careers besides “doctor” that I could aim toward after I graduated. Little did I know that, through club activities and influential mentors, I would be swayed to travel and self-teach new languages, and aspire to be a genetic counsellor after teaching English abroad to develop myself and perspective. Dreams and priorities change; to be open-minded and flexible is the best advice; without change, we do not grow to be better.
