Walter Gage

I was fortunate to have President Gage for Math 101. Because I was an Aggie I had to walk a long way usually in the rain and was invariably late for class, arriving wet and breathless. President Gage was a sweetie and often , paused the lesson , to indicate a spare seat for me , in a class that was often filled to capacity. He was a great teacher, extremely popular and was a good leader of the Uni. We all wept buckets when he died.
