German Club Polka parties at International House

Once or twice a year the German Club on campus would sponsor a Polka Party at International House. I loved the lively music and fast paced dancing. Several times willing friends were persuaded along and found themselves racing around the dance floor. The atmosphere was always friendly and relaxed. At about 1 AM I drove home across the city when by that time it was often very quiet. Occasionally the fog would have rolled in making the drive home very slow.
