First Nations Education

I came from the United States to Canada to study in the Ts'kel First Nations Education Program. I loved my time in Canada and my eldest son was born there. My greatest memories are of the Longhouse. The smell of the cedar, the ceremonies, the academics, the pride. I will always give thanks to the Musqueam People for allowing us to stay on their land. Today I am the Supervisor of Education for the Rincon Band of Luiseno Indians helping youth find a path to higher education.
