UBC Basketball Thunderbirds beat Harlem Globetrotters

The Thunderbirds beat the Globetrotters in a noon hour game at the old gym on the East Mall ( later the women's gym) in '46,'47 or '48. I skipped school ( U Hill) to see the game. With no money I climbed the bushes/trees on the south side and entered through an open window and squeezed into a seat.
