UBC and Ubyssey

Back in the day, one had to leave one's knapsack at the front cubby holes at UBC Bookstore before going in. There were coin lockers but most people were trusting. Well, when I came back to retrieve my unsecured knapsack, I found it to be gone. I was shocked and terribly upset. In my outrage, I wrote a sarcastic letter to the Ubyssey about this incident which was published. Almost two decades later, my future husband googled me and actually found this letter in the Ubyssey online!
