14-year-long Bachelor's degree

Shortly after completing high school in Edmonton, two years of pre-Med at the University of Alberta earned me little more than an ulcer. A decade-long hiatus travelling and/or working in Australia, Korea, Ireland, France, and Spain left me finally ready to resume my studies. No longer willing to live in the "tundra" meant I was thrilled to get accepted at UBC. My minor in Spanish meant my GPA as a Microbiology major was excellent! Both fields of study helped me prepare for an MPH at UW.
