We Have a Voice
One of my greatest memories of UBC was the 2006 composition of the book: We Have a Voice: An Anthology of African and Caribbean Student Writing in BC, which was created by four members of the UBC Caribbean and African Association. The book featured students from the African and Caribbean diaspora, that represented the diverse identities that were often overlooked as being present. This work was one of my proudest accomplishments at the University.
