There's Something About Splendid Isolation For Me...

I grew up on a Peace River homestead with no TV, no indoor plumbing or telephone but with books and radio, horses and hundreds of acres of freedom and responsibility. Adventurous teachers, more books and a high school dormitory in Fort St. John led me to UBC, bolstered by hometown scholarships, determined to become somebody useful in this world, somebody creative maybe.
