UBC was my backyard

We grew up on 14th and Tolmie, and spent much of our time in the woods of the Endowment Lands- bicycles, dogs and kids. So, for city boys we were forest raised. School was a burden until I went to UBC and discovered the joy of learning, and it sparked a interest in everything that has never subsided. That's where my devotion to UBC started and has never wavered. Learning is the best thing in the world.
