Field trip to Alpine, grassland and Aquatic ecosystems
In my final year at the Faculty of Forestry, I took a course in Conservation sciences to study the different ecosystems in BC. We spend a whole semester studying three different ecosystems in BC. As a class, we took three field trips. The first one was to study alpine ecosystems in Garibaldi Provincial Park. We had to hike 6 hours and collect field data to present our findings as a group, and camped out in the wilderness. It was a great experience to be able to travel with other students.
